Self-led SEND visits

We offer self-led group slots on Thursdays and Fridays from 11.15am to 12.30pm or in the afternoon from 2pm in Buckinghamshire term-time. These timings are to work around our facilitated school programme and are timed to be when the galleries should be quieter for groups.

Groups visiting for a self-led session can access all the Museum galleries which include Boy, Solo and the interactive Story Centre. Your group will also be able to access the Crafty Kitchen where students can complete various activity sheets.

How much does it cost?

The cost of a self-led SEND visit is £7.95 per person. All essential carers are free of charge and we offer free teacher places at a ratio of 1:8 students.

Your group will be able to use the public picnic room as part of your visit. You can also go on the self-led Village Trail to places that inspired Roald Dahl before or after your time in the Museum galleries.
