Opening hours

During Buckinghamshire school holidays we are usually open from Monday to Sunday during half-terms and Tuesday to Sunday at Easter and during the summer holidays. See below for exact dates and our Christmas opening hours.

Our interactive galleries can be explored whatever the weather, and our picture-perfect courtyard and self-guided walks are perfect for sunnier days.

We’re open for Titchy Toddlers only on some Friday mornings – see dates below

Last admission each day is at 3.30pm

• February half-term: Saturday 15 to Sunday 23 February
• Easter: Saturday 5 to Monday 21 April (closed Monday 14 April)
• May Bank Holiday: Monday 5 May
• Summer: Thursday 24 July to Sunday 31 August (closed on Mondays except Monday 27 Aug)
• October half-term: Saturday 25 October to Sunday 2 November
• Christmas: Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 December, Saturday 27 to Wednesday 31 December and Friday 2 to Sunday 4 January

The Museum will be open for our special Explore Your Way days for SEND visitors and their friends and families on the following dates:

Titchy Fridays

The Museum is open for Titchy Toddlers sessions only on selected term-time mornings. This is usually the second Friday of the month during term time. The Museum will be open for general visitors from 1pm on these dates. This applies on the following dates:
