Plan your visit
Groups and schools
Our great little attraction in the heart of Roald Dahl country is perfect for group bookings or school visits.
Small group bookings
Your group can explore the galleries, try out hands-on activities, see Dahl’s famous Writing Hut and explore the village and countryside that inspired the stories.
Group costs
We offer a 10% discount on admission for groups with 15 or more paying tickets (this must be paid for at least 14 days in advance).
Please note that the Museum can get very busy during school holidays, especially half-term holidays. We recommend visiting with groups outside these times.
What’s included?
All members of your group will be able to explore the Museum galleries and will receive a Story Ideas Book. They will also each get a Museum trail to help them explore.
Additional activities
Depending on the day of your visit we may be able to arrange storytelling sessions, Writing Hut talks or guided walks. These activities would be exclusive to your group and would be an additional cost, please get in touch for details.
Food and drink
We can offer you a dedicated group space subject to availability on the day of your visit. This is a great space to eat picnics or leave coats. If you are visiting at the weekend you will be able to order food and drink from our onsite cafe, Canny Cafe. Please get in touch if you’d like to enquire about room availability and pre-book refreshments.
If you’re looking to book a visit for an educational group, please see our schools pages.
