If you provide us with personal information via or through using our website, www.roalddahlmuseum.org (“our site”) or by otherwise communicating with us, we will process your personal information in accordance with all applicable data

Our site allows you to:

- Find out how to plan and book a group visit for your school.

Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

You may give us information about you when you get in touch with us by telephone, email or otherwise, including when you use our Shopify shop pages or our ticket platform hosted by DigiTickets. The information you give us may include your title, first and last names, address, country of residence, email address and contact telephone number.

We may keep records of our contact with you, which may include notes on our systems, emails or electronic communications and written correspondence and any telephone number used by you to call us.
On each of your visits to our site we may automatically collect the following information

We work closely with third parties (including, for example, ticketing service providers) to ensure that our site and the information and/or services we provide to you work effectively and we may receive information about you from them. This may include, but not be limited to information that we receive from:
- SurveyMonkey (Survey Monkey Inc.), who will provide us with online form building services for communication with us through our website.
- DigiTickets (a website owned and operated by Digital Ticketing Systems Ltd) who provide us with ticketing services.
- Shopify (Shopify Inc.) who provide us with an online shop platform.
- MailChimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC) who provide us with an email subscriber and delivery service.
- Google LLC to use Google Analytics to track user behaviour.
We may change or add to these third parties for legitimate business or charitable purposes at any time.
Information third parties we work with may collect from you
Purchasing tickets to The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre
If you use our site to purchase tickets for admission to the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, you will be re-directed to roalddahlmuseum.digitickets.co.uk/tickets (a website owned and operated by Digital Ticketing Systems Ltd, referred to here as “DigiTickets”). Ticket purchases are processed via the DigiTickets website and in the process of purchasing tickets via DigiTickets, you will disclose personal information to DigiTickets. Any personal information you provide via the DigiTickets website will be stored and processed in accordance with the privacy policy shown on the DigiTickets website. In using our site and the DigiTickets platform, you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the collection, use, processing, transfer and storage of any personal information you provide to the DigiTickets website, nor the acts and/ or omissions of DigiTickets in respect of the collection, use, processing, transfer and storage of any personal information you provide to the DigiTickets website.
In order to process your ticket purchase and so that the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre can issue with your ticket, DigiTickets will provide the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre with details of your ticket purchase (e.g. the number and type of tickets you have purchased and the date and time for when you have purchased those tickets). This so that the Museum know what tickets you have ordered and paid for when you arrive for your visit to the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre. The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre will store and process some of that information (i.e. your name, address, phone number and email address) in order to facilitate any future bookings you may make for tickets to the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, and for other legitimate business or charitable purposes.
If you purchase tickets to the Museum through any other third party ticket provider, that third party ticket provider may collect personal information from you in accordance with their privacy policy.
Buying products
If you wish to purchase products from us you will be re-directed to our webstore are shop.roalddahlmuseum.org. This is hosted by Shopify (Shopify Inc.). All shop purchases are administered via the Museum Shop and in the process of purchase you will disclose personal information to the Museum Shop. Please read the shop privacy policy carefully, you can find it here. In using our Museum Shop in any way, you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the collection, use, processing, transfer and storage of any personal information you provide to the Museum Shop website nor the acts and/ or omissions of the Museum Shop in respect of the collection, use, processing, transfer and storage of any personal information you provide to the tickets.com website.
In order to process and your shop order and so that the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre can fulfil, process and ship your order Shopify will provide the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre with details of your shop purchase (e.g. the products you have purchased and your shipping address). The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre will store and process some of that information (i.e. your name, address, phone number and email address) in order to facilitate any future orders or to assist with any refunds, and for any other legitimate business or charitable purposes.
Leaving feedback
If you choose to give feedback about the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre by clicking the relevant link on the site, you will be re-directed to a survey on a website operated by Survey Monkey (Survey Monkey Inc.). Signing up for a e-newletter
If you choose to sign up for our e-newsletter you will do so via the sign up forms, and agree to your data being processed by MailChimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC).
