Father Christmas will be making appearances in the Museum galleries throughout the day. Will he pose with Matilda, measure up against his favourite Roald Dahl character or take a break in Roald Dahl’s chair? One thing’s for certain, you’ll be able to come and say hello and pick a free chocolate treat.
This laid-back Santa day is perfect for kids who want a less formal Santa experience. Come and say hello or wave from afar! No set times to book or queues, but you may have to wait your turn at busy times.
You can also join in with storytelling from one of Santa’s helpers in our Wondrous Woods room, enjoy drop-in Christmas crafts and complete our Child Heroes Christmas Trail in the galleries.
The Canny Cafe in the Courtyard will be open for treats, sandwiches and drinks.
