Head to our Wondrous Woods room for some splendiferous storytelling on a Saturday 3 and Monday 5 May! Enjoy sessions throughout the day – just drop in when you’re here. There will be opportunities to get involved with actions or sounds or just sit back and enjoy.
Throughout the weekend you can also pick up a Museum trail and explore the galleries, or head out on a self-guided Village and Countryside Trail if the weather is nice! You can see sights that inspired the book such as Matilda’s library and Fantastic Mr Fox’s woods.
Our Animal Activity Attic will be open all weekend for you to play giant snakes and ladders (or newts and crocodiles in this case!), animal-themed puzzles and games and try out our animal sounds spotter.
