Walk route

The walk leads you out of the Museum along pavements past the old, characterful buildings of Great Missenden. We stop to look at buildings which inspired the stories, and gather at Matilda’s library on the High Street. We visit the storytelling chair on the playing field and then head up to the Church of St Peter and St Paul’s, which dates back to the 14th Century and is the final resting place of Roald Dahl.

The walk lasts about 45 t0 50 minutes.
