Book admission and workshop ticketsSanta Day
To really get in the festive spirit why not plan your visit for our Santa Day? Taking place on Saturday 14 December, Santa will be exploring the Museum and making appearances throughout the day. Free with Museum admission, this is a great opportunity for a more laid back Santa experience; no booked times to keep to (or to stress about!). Kids can come and say hello, or just wave from afar — whatever suits them. BUT everyone will be able to get a free chocolate treat to take away!

Winter walks
Winter is a great time to get out and explore. Forget the cold — wrap up warm and embrace the season. If anything, it makes relaxing with a hot drink and treat at the end even more appealing! There are two opportunities for a seasonal stomp this winter, our My Year walk on Sunday 22 December which takes you into the woods that inspired Fantastic Mr Fox, and our Christmas Trek and Treat on Friday 27 December, which leads you around the village that inspired Matilda and ends with that food and drink we spoke about earlier. All our walks are tailored to kids and family groups
Explore Your Way SEND Quiet Day

For one night only you can experience all this for yourself, plus you can do it with a glass of wine in your hand! What’s not to love? Plus enjoy storytelling, nibbles and a discount in the shop — and get the chance to ask our Collections Manager, Will, any questions you have while you explore.
